WELCOME to the THIRD EDITION OF OUR INTERNATIONAL SQUASH CAMP IN LJUBLJANA!

Slovenia's capital appeals to vacationers seeking a historical, scenic getaway that doesn't break the bank. Located about halfway between the Mediterranean Sea and the Alps, Ljubljana offers a postcard-worthy setting filled with charming architecture, expansive green spaces and bike- and pedestrian-friendly streets.

After a busy day of squash, head to a Slovenian restaurant to savor traditional comfort classics like Idrijski žlikrofi (a potato-, onion-, bacon- and spice-filled pasta served with a meat sauce) or Kranjska klobasa (a sausage similar to what you'd find in Kraków, Poland). Or, make your way to Metelkova mesto for cool art and a superb nightlife scene.

The local head coach of this event Goran Vučković is highly motivated to share with you his knowledge and experience around Squash to give you some new perspectives in our most loved sport!

Squash Venue

Squashland is located in the green surroundings of the Sports Park Štepanja vas in Ljubljana, capital of Slovenia and is the first wooden squash center in the world and as such a unique example of sustainable construction of sports facilities.

In addition to a pleasant stay in the building from natural materials, it also offers users other sustainable solutions, which are extremely important in the creation of cities of the future with an emphasis on integrated self-sufficiency of the building, both in terms of energy and supply.

Event Accomodation

Our accomodation will be the WUD hotel*** which is right next to our squash venue Squashland. The property is situated 3.9 km from Ljubljana Castle, 3.5 km from Ljubljana Botanical Garden and 3.6 km from Ljubljana Central Market.

The WUD***^s Hotel is the first hotel in Ljubljana that has been built on the principles of modern sustainability with a prefabricated timber construction. Natural materials are anti-seismic and fireproof. Single elements are bonded with water-based adhesives, free of harmful chemicals. Wood is also the prominent feature of the hotel interior – of the ceilings for instance, which boast a visible wooden structure, thus giving the room a sense of homeliness and warmth.
